It's a song from the sixties (well, duh!), but I can hear the lyrics well enough once they fade...

Ah, someone else was listening to all that real close too. I especially liked the narration whilst in the helicopter with the banjo playing Wagner's Ride of the Valkyries, absolutely hilarious, not to mention the ripoff from Apocalypse Now. Well done. As to the piece you question, it is called something like "It's the time of the season...for loving" or something. As to the artist? I do not know. That is a little before my time. But I shall ask my older, Viet Nam era brother, who will know right off.
