South Park On 102.9 The Planet and 107.5 The Buzz

Hello there, It has recently come to my attention that the music stations in my area(houston,tx) have been playing clips of South Park in their advertisments. I'm thinking about posting them if I can ever record them. Thanks, Kevin

Yeah, some of our stations in NC have been doing that.. even going so far as to play 30 second clips from Spirit of Christmas during some programs.. pretty cool.

I've heard WPLY Y100 100.3 in Philadelphia play some quotes as little intro bits, their favorite being, "I know a certain kitty kitty who's sleeping with mommy tonight!"

Up in Vancouver, one of the better stations, CFOX 99.3 plays a lot of the clips too.

Yes, south florida is so lovely with all these old people around here who hate all music except for country and easy listening. And the Buzz isn't much of a SKA/Punk station anyway. Its devoted to "new" music. Not good music, or punk music. Just new music. (But aparantly Nine Inch Nails is new music).

Have you tried college radio stations? We don't have a any ska or punk stations here (NC), but the local colleges have a bunch of punk/ska programs.

WMMS in Cleveland is playing them too. They seem to be particularly fond of Cartman saying "Kickass!"

I would say that any radio station that has access to playing wav or mp3 files would be downloading the hell outta SP sounds, why wouldn't they? What better sounds could they be playing besides SP and KOTH?

I think that Comedy Central should take action.I'm tired of crappy DJs making uo for their bad jokes then playing sp trying to be cool then calling themselves comedy geniuses.

Strange: Here in NY/NJ/CT area there's also Buzz 107.5 Top 40 Z100 is better by far, tho. ��� �hr�B

Has anyone heard the "South Park/Titanic Remix" on WPLJ 95.5?

I haven't heard it myself yet, but everyone's telling me it's great!

The Buzz sucks. I was listening when they first started, back in the summer of '95...now they're all sell-outs playing sell-out top alternative 40 music.
