SP shirts--bad quality?

I don't know about you, but I have 2 white South Park shirts (one with Cartman and the cat with the phrase, Yeah I want Cheesy Poofs. And one with the whole gang on it), and the quality of the shirts are pretty lousy. They're that cheaper, almost "see-through" type shirts. I would expect better material when you buy em' like 16.95 a pop. I think the t-shirt is a Guidan or something...I forget off-hand. Anyway, anyone else have that problem? And are there more out there with better quality shirts.....

I have the one with the whole gang on it and I think it's great quality. I've had it for over 2 months now and it's still great; hasn't faded a bit. What is the brand of your shirts? Maybe that has something to do with it, but I'm not sure it different brands were used, maybe depending on where it came from. Mine's from the Comedy Central website (I think, my sister got it for me for my birthday).

i, personally, am waiting for better merchandise to come out. what, am i trying to prove to the world that i like this show. it seems to me that most of the people at my school with the shirts are posuers who jumped the bandwagon.

What you might have on your hands is a bootleg shirt. They're typically cheaper and crappier in most respects. I picked up a Scorpions concert shirt from some guy who got picked up by security guards thirty seconds after I bought it. The shirt was OK for a few weeks but then it started to shrink and fade.

On the other hand, some of the best South Park t-shirts, in the near future, will probably be homemade. At least the best-designed shirts, seeing as it took them four months to design more than one Cartman shirt, while they had two Kyle shirts right off, one of which had "Kick Ass", Cartman's line, as the caption. Free from licensing and just about anything else that makes the "real" shirts legal, designers of bootlegs can create whatever they want as long as they can accept the risk of being shut down or sued.

Where did you get this shirt? And have you compared it with other shirts you've seen for both image quality and workmanship?

One shirt that I got was from Hot Topic, it was BRIGHT orange and it had Cartman with his cussing symbols at the bottom. The quality was good in that. The other two were white (one from Hot Topic and one from Boscovs) and they both sort of shrunk and the material wasn't that great. I gotta' check the tags on them to see what the makes were. It seems to me there are images out there that people are grabbing and ironing on any shirt...

Why buy someone elses tshirt just get an image and a tshirt and take it to kinkos woohoo

Welp, you weren't talking to me, but I bought two t-shirts.. Both of them original Comedy Central shirts. One with the whole gang, the other with the line "Kick the baby!" and I've only had em for a month or so, they are not too thin, but already fading, and I always wash my shirts inside-out (usually help it to not fade..)...

I think they should come out with a shirt like Cartman wore- hot pink with the words BEEFCAKE scribbled on the front. That'd kick ass! Even more than snackey cakes!

There some store in Miami that sells Mr Hats.....I haven't seen one yet, but I think it'd be cool to have. It's a real hand puppet.
