Near the end, the cops arrest the escaped convicts and then just load them into the squad cars. I was surprised that they didn't shoot them. In past episodes, the police/FBI have had no problem with killing unarmed people: Charlie Manson Christmas, the meteor shower party, Psychic Detective, and probably some I've forgotten.
This season is really not as good as the past ones.
