DYN re. The Crocodile Hunter

As lampooned in an episode of South Park, it turns out that Steve Irwin, The Crocodile Hunter, really does stick his finger into a lower orfice of crocodiles--their equivalent of the genital and/or anal opening--to determine their gender, as he has shown in an episode of his show. The "jyaam moy thomb in 'is botthole" thing wasn't entirely made up after all, but is actually based on reality.

And, beleive it or not, he's performed the same trick with a certain breed of rattlesnake.
