Starvin' Marvin in Space [SPOILERS]

Oh my god you guys, although I loved Chinpoko Mon, this has to be one of the best episodes of season 3 so far! Everything about it was great. I even didn't mind the recurring joke of the TV evangelist guy. These are my favorite parts, in no order:

1.) The return of Starvin' Marvin! He's the coolest and cutest little guy, isn't he? And he's always looking out for his people. Remember how he fed his entire village in "Starvin' Marvin"?

2.) The whole episode was so action packed that it seemed like it was longer than a half hour. I loved the whole space battle.

3.) The sci-fi references. Like I said, I love the whole space battle, the design of the ship (for you closet Trekkies out there- didn''t Marvin's ship sorta look like a Klingon Bird-of-Prey?), the wormhole, the binary star system, the tractor beam, etc.

4.) Sally Struthers as Jabba. My roommate and I burst out laughing when we saw Sally. Shit- she was even speaking Huttese! I was waiting for one of the CIA agents to try and use a Jedi mind trick to persuade Sally to help them. "You will lend your ship to us".

5.) Kenny frozen in carbonite. He didn't die, assuming that he survived the freezing process.

6.) Kyle showing us once again how smart he really is as he was able to speak in the Marklar's language.

7.) Trey being able to poke fun at himself as the boys complain of the music they were listening to in Marvin's ship. I'm positive that band they were listening to was DVDA.

That's all I can think of for now, until I watch the episode again.

I'm 27. I grew up on Star Wars. I had Star Wars sheets, wallpaper, and damn near every toy in existance.

Fucking Lucas and his Jar-Jar. Ruined Phantom Menace completely... never mind that it was almost a carbon copy of ANH.

I hope to hell someone slaps some sense into George and he makes the next two as dark as they should be... with the extermination of the good jedi and thousands of Mandalorian (Boba Fett look-alikes) warriors running around frying people left and right, there's no chance in hell that he can sell it to a kiddie audience like he tried with TPM.

Lucas, you asshole. Cut Jar-Jar and all those fucking Gungans and the movie would have been slightly shorter and a hell of a lot more enjoyable.

In what way? The "ship's hyperdrive is damaged and must land on a far off planet to fix it" is from ESB, and the final 3 way battle is straight from ROTJ. And what about the those Senate scenes in Couruscant? (which were totally awesome IMHO. Palpatine rules!) I remeber seeing any of that in ANH.

True the next two will be dark, but not so violent so the kiddies can't see. Remember Lucas intended ALL the films to be seen by all ages.

I can understand your beef with Jar-Jar (he'll be in the next 2 movies) but the Gungans as a whole were pretty competant warriors, especially Captain Tarpals.
