What was the point of that annoying Asspen guy? Was ths some parody I missed out on? I mean, "come on." The guy focuses and obsesses on some 8-year-old, challenges him to races, makes up songs about him -- I mean, what was all that??

Possibly, but didn't the game sphere's voice have a Japanese accent? If it was a direct rip on the X box, it shouldn't have an accent, as the X box is an American product (well, it was designed by an American company, anyway.)

You're probably right. I was thinking on the angle that the Xbox was supposed to surpass the PS2 and GC, which is why the price was so high in the toy store. The original Xbox price was $100 higher than the PS2. Either way, it's very clever. Since I've owned an Xbox since December, I can say that I don't play my PC games that much these days. I go back to the Atari 2600 era, but I never owned a console machine (only a Commodore 64). Sports games are a joke on the PC, that was my main reason for getting the Xbox.

I'd really love to see a DVD with a commentary track from Savage Steve and John Cusack... I tend to wonder how many lines might have been improved and how much was written out ahead of time.

A bit left of topic, but "Wet Hot American Summer" is a totally hillarious parody of 80's camp movies (especially the vietnam vet/camp cook that mumbles things like "I'm going to go and smear mud on my ass" under his breath to other kitchen workers). I'm sure South Park fans will appreciate it.
