Any walkouts when you saw the film?

I couldn't help noticing the large number of walk-outs last night when I went to see the movie. I wonder if this happened to other people who saw the film.

Didn't happen to me... the whole theater was laughing their asses off that first night (June 30). But I've been twice since then and the theater has been almost empty... ^_^;;

anyway you are lucky. I got to wait for the dvd or the vhs because the movie won't be released in any cinema in my country

What country is that? The UK? Not surprised to hear, since "Clockwork Orange" was released for the first time there only recently.

I couldn't tell is anyone walked out; My brother-in-law & I sat in the front. I know he wanted to leave at some points during the movie but overall he thought it was funny. It is not just the humor of the movie that is great though; it is the blatant blatantness of it that is inspiring as well as refreshing to the mind and soul and testicles.

I finally got to see it. They stuck SP in the small theater. We had one walk-out. A girl and her boyfriend. What I did notice the most was the groaning and moaning about the songs. It started when satan started to sing. Some woman yelled,"Oh god no...". The when Saddam sang the guys behind me decided this was a good time to go to the bathroom. Everyone else sat silent for the rest of the movie as well. I must say the first 30 minutes of SP is excellent, but it just goes over the top after that and drags on too long. They shouldve cut out 3 or 4 of those songs as well.

Yeah, there were a lot of songs.

That's why it's a musical. Trey and Matt said it was a musical.

I think the songs kick ass. Buy the soundtrack. They are hilarious.

We only had one walk out (that I noticed) - although I think my wife was ready to walk early on.

I loved the movie, but my first thought at the end was "What the F*ck!"

It was the strangest friggin movie I've seen in a long time, I was ready to buy the DVD in the lobby, I wanted to see it again to catch everything...

I didn't see anyone walk out the two times I saw the film, infact everyone had a blast. The first screening, I missed some shit with all the laughing, the 2nd time I saw it the crowd was a bit more calm, but I think they all saw the film before, thats the impression I got atleast.

Believe it or not, both times I've seen it, we've had no noticable walkouts...and I live in Falwellville...I'm impressed...LOL

I didn't see any walkouts at all... and Americans say Canadians have no sense of humor :) Even though it was poking fun of us quite a bit... well, I'm not even Canadian, but I live here now, and everyone in the theatre was laughing their asses off the whole time :)

Seen it twice - no walkouts yet. Scariest thing is all the kids in the theater (some with parents, some without) - and still no walkouts.

There was a couple with three kids about eight thru eleven. The kids were gone about two minutes into the movie but the couple stayed.

Hahah.. It was so funny. The night it opened, I went to a small theater in town and watched it twice. For the second showing, two kids that couldn't have been more than 12 and 10 years old ( at the MOST ) were there alone. I couldn't help but think about how this movie would warp them for the years to come.

If I had seen anyone walk out, I might have said, "We don't take kindly to people who walk out on great movies."

By the way, I saw another movie called "Asses of Fire" starring Terrance and Philip. It was little more than a 3-hour fart-fest. Everyone walked out except for five young kids.
