Those lamers ripped us out of hundreds of dollars. So, if you see Spin on a list, MOVE THEIR NAME TO THE BOTTOM!!!

This recent rash of messages from the Dynamic Duo seem a bit suspect to me. All these messages popping up at one time, all condeming Spin. Having never read Spin, I can't say anything about it. It may well be these are messages from Matt and Trey, maybe it's just the skeptic in me coming to the surface, but it just seems really odd. Of course, if either one is reading this group, feel free to drop me a line with some little tidbit from Damien that you can't find on the Web and I'll be happy to believe you.

I have no idea. As I said, I've never read Spin so I can't make any kind of assumption as to how honest their reporting might be. Similarly, I've never gotten email from Matt or Trey, so I can't judge by that message either way.

I'm not doubting the validity of the idea contained in the message, but it just seems a bit fishy that all these messages suddenly popped up and that they were all in a similar format. They all had the 'We wanted to get the word out and we thought ____________ message board/web page was the best place to do it' opening and a very smiliar format. Granted, this may be because a large number of messages were written and so they used the same general format, I know I do that, but it seemed rather band-wagony to me. Just my opinion, of course. YMMV.

I think this is the best approach when this type of stuff happens. So much BS gets spread so quickly via Usenet. I don't know if this Spin bashing is from Trey but I have serious doubts and I see no percentage in possibly damaging Parkers reputation spreading unsubstantiated posts.

I hope _that_ was a fake message; anyone who you'd hate to think of as capable of using a semi-colon correctly in a putdown could easily be capable of STARTING AN EVIL PUTDOWN CASCADE!!!
