I am happy to anounce that our vice principle stated that SP tee-shirts are NOT banned from school!!! Only if they have "bad" language on them!! which now means I'm am free to buy that kenny shirt I wanted and be able to wear it to school!!!! Does anyone here have a school dress code and would like to vent? :^)

Well, our school will probably end up banning them, since our school has gotten a new dean of students, who basically runs our school like it is a prison! (Even though we have to wear uniforms for most of the days, we do have days when we could wear normal clothes). I go to an uptight Catholic school, so they may be banned (hey, we can't even carry compasses with us for geometry class--even plastic ones--no nail files, can't stand up in the cafeteria, our heels on our shoes must be *under* 1 and a half inches, etc. You can even ask Jess--HEY I KNOW YOU'RE HERE SOMEWHERE! EARTH TO JESS! EARTH TO JESS! ;)--about how stupid our school is) Well, I was wearing a Cartman shirt at a school dance (It said, "You gotta problem?", just to let ya know) and the dean of students was staring at it like it was a strange evil growth hanging out of my nose or something. Well, there hasn't been any comments about my SP keychains, which I have with me everyday...kids wore the shirts last year....so, who really knows? Maybe my school will ban them, or maybe not. If they do, then let's just say I'll be *REALLY PISSED OFF*!!!

Fuck the rule about no bad language. It's just a friggin' TV show. And technically, if you say something "kicks ass", it's not bad language. ========================
A co-worker in my office got a tongue-lashing for wearing a "Kick Ass" shirt. And I work in a pretty laid-back office. Go figure...

Oh, a fellow sufferer. I, too, have to wear a uniform (I go to one of those overuptight Catholic schools). My uniform is one of those stupid kilt things with a split down the front, and, like, one button to hold the damn thing shut--it's hell to go walking on a windy day with those things--people usually end up getting a bit of a show. So, basically, we have to look like sluts that are pretending to be Scottish. But, lucky for us, we do get a few days when we could wear normal clothes. If they ban SP shirts at my school, I will totally lose it! I did wear a Cartman shirt at a school dance, and I got a hell of a weird look from our dean of students (almost wrote dean of stupids, how appropriate!) when he saw it.

i would love it if my school would bane the shirts, but in a way i dont. the shirts are a good sign that that you shouldn't talk to the person wearing it because you know they aren't very smart.
