i'm thinking of downloading them all, as the cost for the vhs episodes is too much, i ruined my sky one tape,and i can't wait till channel 4 shows them. so what gives the best quality, real video, mpeg, or something else. is there much difference in size? =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= i love you guys... ah screw you guys. Well, one episode in Realplayer is about 30 meg. The same episode in mpg is about 140 meg.

mpg is better quality. If you don't mind watching the episode in a 1.5" square box, then go with the rp. I prefer a fullscreen, clear picture myself.
I have no clue about .mov or .viv Never seen an episode in one of those formats.

MPEG does have much better compression than AVI. Consider that an episode in AVI is ~3GB. RealVideo is smaller, but the video and sound quality are terrible.
