Question about the Warcraft episode

Though the super-high level player was killed in the end, wouldn't he just resurrect and immediately start killing other players again?

I've never played WoW, and I wondered that myself. Most MMORG's, when a character is defeated, it suffers a penalty - maybe loss of a level or experience points or items. I highly doubt though he would have to go back to level 1 and start all over. So yeah, it really didn't solve much.

On Warcraft, if you get killed by another player, you lost nothing but the time it takes to run back from the cemetery and any benefit spells on you. If you get killed by the game, you also lose armor durability which you have to pay to repair (in game money) or eventually your armor gets worn out and stops protecting you. You never lose experience or levels.
