Mr. Hanky Commercial

DAMMIT!!!! I'm so pissed, I thought the Hanky Commercial was real, so I paused the tape since I edit all the commercials usually...Got up to go to the bathroom, and then ran back when I heard what was going on.

On another note, If this is the first appearance of Mr. Hanky, then how come there's always been Mr. Hanky bouncing across the screen in the show's opening? Did the show's writers/creators have Hanky in mind all those months ago? Is there a Mr. Hanky v. Santa/Jesus/Frosty clip out there where he made his first appearance??? Whats the deal here?

On another note, Loved the revists of the Spirit of Xmas short-- ie, Sitting on Santa's lap at "VISIT SANTA" booth, and Stan's, "Dude, this is pretty fucked up right here" line...Gotta love it.

The third and fourth lines are "And when (it's,you're) dry and ready, with Dreidel I will play". I thought they would have gotten it right by now.

I'm not Jewish and I haven't heard the song in many years but I'm pretty sure about that.... and I suspect there are at least two unique verses.

I was slow in pausing the tape so I was in time to realize this was a Mr. Hankey ad. Great episode. And I'm glad Kenny lives to enjoy Xmas, but I'm not offering him Life Insurance for '98.
