Proof keeps rolling in...

The other day, Lindsay noticed something. I checked Saturday, and I noticed too. I have a feeling this is yet more proof that Trey and Matt are lurking..oh no, that means they read McCormick..*shiver*. Please like it, you two! Anyway, yet more proof that Trey and Matt are here here here here *HERE*..to quote Chef Aid, when Chef is being taken away by the police, we get this two-line dialogue from Stan and Kyle:

Stan: Dude, Chef is gone! Kyle: No more Chef...

Now, I know this isn't suspicious by itself, but let us compare this with a line from 'Playing the Game of Revenge':

And suddenly, it hit him. Kyle was gone. No more Kyle. Can't call him on the phone, can't talk to him on the street. Can't trade homework answers, can't trade secrets. Never again.

A McCormick reference next? Who knows? But this is even more proof that they're lurking..and so, you guys, come clean. We know you're out there..and we *will* find you.

Well thanks for making me feel like an idiot.. You haven't been here a lot, Greg, let me explain. A bunch of us keep finding a million bazillion references to things on this newsgroup in new SP eppies. We've even formed a little society for catching Trey and Matt's personas on the ng. We don't take half of it seriously, but screw it, it's fun. And no, I was not giving myself credit. I was simply saying that perhaps Trey and Matt read the fanfic and snuck in a referance to mess with our heads. Or not. But you have to admit, the dialogue '<name> is gone!' 'No more <name>' isn't all too common. Oh, by the way, how exactly do you know that it's *not* a referance? I mean, you don't know if Trey and Matt are lurking or not-do you? Stop holding out on us, damnit, tell us!

I don't know if they read this stuff, and even if I asked them I'm sure they'd probably fuck around with me and not give me a real answer anyway....but to think that the kids saying "No More Chef" is a reference to a fanfic is just nutty....there's no reference value to that sentence! I mean....I admit, I don't read the fanfics...but if one of you wrote about Kenny dying in a mosh pit and then you saw "Clubhouse"...THEN I could see you getting suspicious...but "No More Chef" ??? C'mon dude!!!

Okay humour me. There probably isn't a single person on the NG that knows who I actually am, and yet I'm a member, and I post on occasion, and I read everyone else's stuff. Some of it just gets a quick glance and some of it gets a more thorough reading, but my point here is this -- if I can essentially 'lurk' and read all the posts without ever posting myself, then nobody knows I'm here. Newsgroups are sort of nice that way. Anyways. My personal belief is that yes, Matt and Trey probably DO read at least some of what is written here. After all, I know if I'd created something that got to be even more popular than that damned "Tickle Me Elmo" doll then I'd want to keep track of what people thought. But, of course, they can read it and never post and just leave you all wondering forever. So, my essential question is this -- how do you intend to "Catch" them on the group if there is never really any way to do so. For all you know, any one of us could be the infamous pair.
