With the smooth, magical touch that the Fonz always seemed to have, you'd think he'd have a way to stroke the shark in such a way that would pacify it and prevent it from devouring him...or at least that's how the writers of "Happy Days" would probably have it anyways. (Okay, we're not talking about dolphins here.) ;)

You guys do know that was a takeoff from a real Happy Days episode, don't you? It was considered the point when the show had lost all momentum and credibility as a reliable family show. There is a website called Jump the Shark that I heard someone on Howard Stern talk about.

Come to think of it, I wonder if that scene with the Fonz jumping the shark was done as a tongue-in-cheek response to recent reports about South Park's decline in the ratings.
