Here's a nice subject for debate.
What do you consider to be more repugnant: the group of people who tell you that you must NOT see a movie (like SP:BLaU), or the group of people who demand that you MUST see a movie (like all the hype and commercials involving Star Wars Episode 1)?
Group 1: wants to prohibit you from information.
Group 2: wants to shove their information down your proverbial brainstem, like the good little "spenders" that you are.

There isn't going to be a 7-9. George Lucas has already said so. Incidentally, remember when it was said George Lucas had episodes 1 through 3 already figured out when he made episodes 4 through 6? I think it's bs. He's makin it up as he goes.

Group 1 just makes me want to see the movie even more.
Group 2 makes me not want to see the movie for a long, long time. (Too late on that one-already seen Phantom Menace twice, but I won't see WWWest!!)

Group one is more scary, esp. here in Colorado where the fundies tend to be armed..
Group two is annoying, but ignorable.

Thank goodness Episode 1 wasn't overdone like this in my hometown (as I'm aware it was in other places) or else I would've freaked. I enjoyed that movie, but if I saw tons of thousands of commercials and stuff about it, that might've made me avoid it for awhile. An overabundance of advertising just really keeps me away.
Group 1 is much more reprehensible than 2. While 2 is merely an inconveniance and annoyance, they are not forcing anyone to do anything against their will, nor are they violating any laws, except perhaps ones governing good taste (Who IS that pizza hut girl supposed to be?) Group one, on the other hand, wishes to stomp on our rights in the name of their values and morality. In my opinion, this is easily as dangerous as the behaivior of militant activists who bomb abortion clinics and other extremists. On the hierarchy of evil, advertising agents rank surprisingly low.

Call your cable company and request they pick up that channel. And, get some friends and acquaintances with the same cable company to do the same. That's basically what worked, when my cable company didn't have Comedy Central.
