Overheard....

Forget responsible parenting, taking a 5-year old child to this movie is a waste of ticket money. How much of the movie do you suppose a child of that age would understand?

Seems to me that in this case, the price of a ticket was cheaper than the cost of a babysitter and that's probably the real reason you overheard what you did.

I didn't overhear it. If you'll check the original post you'll see it was a comment from somebody else who had overheard it while waiting in line. In either case, I still think that this mother was smarter than most of the screamers railing about the movie corrupting children.

My mistake. I meant that that's probably the reason the imdb contributor overheard what s/he did.

I don't think railing against it is very intelligent, but I also don't think taking a 5 year old to see this movie is very intelligent either.
