The new episode, to be aired 2/4/98, was very funny, IMHO better than any of the holiday specials they'd done. I won't post spoilers, because I want everyone to enjoy it, but to prove I'm not pulling your leg, I'll lay out the following phrases:

• Duck-billed platypus
• "That's what I told Pip to do and look how it's worked for him"
• "You may now have pie, ice cream, and cake."
• Ants in your pants.

There's a leak, obviously. The kind of leak Fox was afraid of when they did the "Who shot Mr. Burns" cliffhanger, and why they animated all those extra scenes you saw in the 137th Episode Spectacular.

I think the comparison is a tad over the top. We each have our opinion, of course, but I doubt the SP producers are THAT paranoid over leaks. The Simpson's ep was a one time special event.

Well, they will be that paranoid when the cliffhanger episode comes up for production. They'll be making clips of all kinds of people humping Cartman's mom in 1990.
