Am I the only one that found last night's episode of South Park funny? I tried keeping a straight face during most of the episode but I lost it when the duck first started dancing. XD I'm glad they showed how dumb those dancing movies are. If I see one more ignoramous in a movie trailer yelling "It's on" I think I'll scream.

Same here. One thing the surely added to its charm for me was that I'm totally unfamiliar with whatever genre of movies it was they were making fun of. I was not aware of any negative meaning of getting served outside of getting a summons. Same for "it" being "on". So, I was as puzzled as the kids were by what was going on.

"Bring It On" was a cheerleader movie. (Original, superior title: "Cheer Fever".) Still, although I can't say I've seen any of the actual dance movies being ripped on, I'd say that BiA is probably somewhat similar.

Not as good as the Anime episode or the Passion one, but better then Cartman as a retard.
I didn't like it the first time around, but upon seeing it again, it's going on me.
Highlights include: -The Goth Dance(reminds me of a peanuts character dancing). -Stan's Achy Breaky Heart serving. -Butter's tap song. -Butter accidently killing everyone and the other team and being tramatized by it.
I watched it again, too, thinking it might grow on me. Regrettably it didn't. Not even a little bit. Usually I can find a whole mess of stupid things to laugh at, even in episodes I don't really like all that much. For this one, I was just... sort of... there. Yeah, South Park at it's worst is still about a hundred times better than most other TV at it's best, but still, I found myself hoping for more.
Maybe I just didn't enjoy it because I haven't (as yet) been subjected to the abject horror that is "You've Been Served (The Movie)". I'm sure that one day I'll be absent mindedly flipping through channels, and on HBO, I'll find myself being "served" this steaming pile of dog shit, and spend the rest of my days alternately scratching at my eyes to remove the images burned into my retinas and marvelling at how amusing this south park episode was. Until that day, however, I am resigned to simply "not getting it"... and more importantly, not getting served.
I don't know why they parodied it as it's kinda obscure ... but I thought the funniest part was the "I'll do a line, you do a line, honey" song that made the duck dance. That just had me rolling. It's from various Andy Griffith shows, one of Andy's favorite songs.

Man, that one was great! After the preach-fest of the passion one, one that was just meant to be funny was awesome. Southpark rules. Like Craig Kilborn said, Comedy Central is built on South Park, and they continue to prove themselves worthy of the job.
