if anyone had any doubts about matt & trey losing their touch then this episode quickly dispelled any myths
chef got DENIED well that is by a lesbian (i guess you cant teach a gay dog staight tricks)
for the first time you see wendys dark side emerge (DONT FUCK WITH ME MS ELLEN) and i honestly think that matt & trey have been getting ideas from this NG for the show because suprisingly enough kenny didnt know what a lesbian was
oh yeah pardon the ignorance but was does eating cardboard have to do with being a lesbian (i got the carpet part HEHEHE)
LOL Yeah, this episode was definitely the shit! The box has to do with a term called "chewing on the box", aka "eating the carpet," etc. etc. Lesbo videos would tell you that.
I'm a little surprised Kenny didn't know what a lesbian was. But, then again, he's so focused on his own manhood (and, oh, yeah, his DEATHS) that maybe he overlooked it.
That carpet licking bit was HILARIOUS! I'm surprised the show got nailed with a TV14 rating again. LOL
Wendy and the Iraqis? What the fuck...! "Don't FUCK with me, Ms. Ellen!" Guess Wendy Testaburger was right...but, really, was does she see in barfing Stan?
And, hey, I understood Kenny for once! "Did you stick it in..." How about that? He died kinda bad, tho...can a flying sword really impale a kid to the wall like that? I was hoping he'd get blasted into the sun with Ms. Ellen.
"Licking the carpet" I got right away. I wasn't too sure with "Chewing on the box", but I figured it had to do with the same thing as licking carpet. Hairball! <hack>
I dunno...it seems to me that Kenny might actually be the smartest among the South Park kids...if only we could figure out what the hell he's trying to say. After all, he does know what they say about women with one arm longer than the other.
That, and he seemed to derive some sick pleasure out of giving Miss Ellen a long phallic looking sausage. But sometimes, a sausage is just a sausage...
I believe it's a condition known as "emetophilia", the fetish for vomit. People with this fetish enjoy vomiting or being vomited on (a.k.a. "The Roman Shower"). It's supposed to have something to do with reliving your childhood, and the attention you got from tossing your cookies. I swear, I am NOT making this up (refer to the 1997 "Annual Sex Issue" of Details Magazine for more details).
There is a web page that approximates what Kenny says. They're always dirty, and SP is probably trying to humorously avoid censorship. Go to http://www.geocities.com/TelevisionCity/Set/2437/ Based on the assumption that Kenny has a "potty mouth" they are very accurate.
was ms Ellen really a lesbian? I don't think they actually confirmed that (though her stammering at the restraunt may be telling). I took the 'ms ellen is a lesbian' stuff as Chef coming to the illogical conclusion she must be a lesbian because she wouldn't sleep with him.
( you know the logic:
* A lesbian would not want to sleep with chef.
* ms ellen doesn't sleep with chef.
thus: ms ellen must be a lesbian
that (though her stammering at the restraunt may be telling). I took the 'ms ellen is a lesbian' stuff as Chef coming to the illogical conclusion she must be a lesbian because she wouldn't sleep with him.
I'm getting bad flashbacks to my argument class :). I'd take the Ellen is a lesbian theory at face value and say she is. It's not like she's coming back anyway.
Maximoff (Unless they pull a McCormick w/ her :) )
sure we saw a rocket go flying into the sun, and we saw ms ellen being put into that rocket, But we did NOT see ms ellen in the rocket flying into the sun. It could happen. :-) Might make for an interesting sequel episode next season.... ms ellen vs wendy in a fight to the finish!
I was wondering about that myself. An alternate possibility is that she just TOLD Chef she was a lesbian so he'd leave her alone. Keep in mind that there was nothing about her which suggested *any* sexual preference one way or the other. I was wondering if she'd end up hitting on Wendy (after the Olivia Newton-John makeover... a reference I caught even before they came right out and said it), but a grown woman hitting on an 8-year-old girl sounds a little sick, even by "South Park" standards.

Well in anay case she was shocked when Stan brings up the lesbian thing over dinner. It did look lik she was going to explain things to him...

I got that same feeling. She could have just not been interested in Chef <gasp!>. Chef would, of course, have to spread it around that she is a lesbian to save face, so when Stan brought it up at dinner she was thinking 'Oh, not again' since she had heard it so much. Her response at the buffet didn't seem like a defensive one, as I would think it would be if she was a lesbian, but more one of exhaustion/resignation, as if she had been asked many times before and was tired of telling people no. Then again, maybe I'm just reading _way_ to deep into this.
I agree with you. Her sexual preference was never confirmed. Chef started a rumor and it spread like legs on prom night. ======================== If a billion people believe in a stupid idea, it is still stupid.
I'm going with Chef writing her off as a lesbian. How the kids handle such 'adult' themes with such innocense makes for great irony. Especially the carpet / box thing... Leave it for Cartman's mom...
What about Mr Garrison's surgery! Too bad Mr Hat get it ti match!!!
Well, if we learned one thing from this episode...
what is my fly open? just kidding this must be some joke that doesnt include wisconsin because i was asking around at school and everyone laughed but when i asked them to explain they got suprisingly quiet (see they didnt know either)

I've never actually heard the phrase 'Eating box/munching box/whatevering box' but did know the box-pussy connection. Maybe that was a little improv on the part of Trey and Matt. I was surprised I didn't hear pillow biter, that's always been a favorite of mine.
The whole box-reference thing goes way back to my high school days... about fifteen years ago. Maybe a while back for some of you younguns'. If times have changed, what references to the female anatomy are being used today?
Haven't seen yet, but the box thing is irrevelent and the licking of the carpet: There was this girl in my kindergarten class who ATE the carpet By the end of the school year her family owed the school $500 She acted pretty weird hrB

Cartman says something to the effect of: My mother says if i want to be a lesbian i have to eat (out) this box. Box referring to part of a female's anatomy. =]
