Hey...someone clear this up...is the other south park episode of Anal Probe a "directors cut"(yeah, cartoons have directors) or just the pilot episode to try to convince Comedy Central to air the show?

It's both. There are scenes in it which were cut or changed when it finally aired, but it was episode they self-animated to get final series approval. It was too long and the execs wanted it fixed up a little bit, so they re-did it, keeping most of the animation and re-recording the voice-overs.
