Oh I didn't get the joke! That's why the mohel picked up the other cutting tool! Silent Z

Actually, I think if you'll look closely the next time they show it, you'll see the second cutting tool has a maple leaf shape between the pinchers instead of an oblong one...

I believe the first tool was in the shape of the Star of David; then when the guy realized that Ike wasn't REALLY Jewish, but Canadian instead, he brought along the maple leaf tool. STEVE (the guy with "sour" for a last name)

Tonight's was a good one.

I would say that my favorite part of this, and for that matter for _any_ episode to date was the scene after Mr Mackie or whatever it is was explaining how they searched all of the students and couldn't find the marijuana, folllowed by a cut to Mr. Garrison giggling and watching Teletubbies.

There was also the later scene in the clinic with people watching it as well, which was wonderful but not the same as the first time.

But that's just me cos I do love South Park, really I do, I've taped them all from day one--

I just love Teletubbies that much more.

How were those hippies at the clinic able to watch Teletubbies? Did they smuggle some drugs in?

Drugs are bad, see?

No he meant, how where they able to watch it, as in how where they able to stand the show WITHOUT being high, since they where at a clinic and all.

Naah... It just takes a while to come down... unless the clinic is equipped with thorazine.

Thats hilarious. I am just wondering why this show (and Terrence and Phillip in particular) picks on Canadians so much? Is Matt or Trey Canadian?

I noticed that the second tool had the maple-leaf-shape between the pinchers, but my first impression was that the hole in the second tool was much *smaller* than the first one.

I agree... after getting (IMO) a couple of boring episodes like Not Without My Anus and Part 2 of the Cartman's Mom episode, I thought last night's episode was great.

They DID use the word "bullshit", didn't they? Tell me I wasn't dreaming!

I enjoyed it alot... except for two things:

1. Kenny should've eaten the pot, not Mr. Garrison. 2. Chef should've told the children that marajuana is bad, and if they ever find any, they should bring it straight to him so he can "dispose" of it properly.

M'kay?

God... that brought back memories... I used to be able to do a killer impression of my auto shop teacher... the other guys loved it!

I don't ! I'm damn proud of it to. Our drug program was pretty cool compared to most schools.

Must have been like Mr. Makie (sp?) Drugs are bad. You shouldnt do drugs. Alcohol is bad. You shouldnt drink alcohol. Marajuana is bad. You shouldnt smoke marajuana.

Brings back fond memories of the old DARE program. No real insite into why we shouldnt do drugs. Just, drugs are bad. They really expect children to respond to that kind of motivational speaking?

They told you drugs were bad? Wow. They just taught me where to get them, how much I should pay, and what to call them. Oh, and I signed their contract. Took me about six months to break it.

Andrew O. Smith - | "There was no such thing as the Sysadmin, Insync Internet Services | Internet five years ago." Houston, Texas, USA | --Neil Herman, Smith Barney

I recall the program I went to in grade school as being efective, although I no longer recall what they did.

BTW, was the missing bag of marijiuanna an urban legend? I've heard of the same thing happening in other drug awareness programs (I'd almost swear this happened to dad, except the tray was returned with TWO joints *grin*), but maybe my memory is playing tricks on me...

Actually, thats the very program I was talking about. I guess it depends on
whom they hire, Mr. Moody (who switched schools with us so he could teach us
gang resistance later on in Junior High) was a cool guy. He explained WHY drugs
were bad, gave us stories about people who used them, from his experience (he
was a cop, but no Officer Barbrady. My fave story was one of alcohol abuse, it
was really depressing because this grandmother was killed on the way to her
family's home on Chrsitmas Eve, because she drank one to many egg nogs.) and
gave us ideas of things to do besides doing drugs. I'd say it was pretty
effective on most of us. However, he always talked with great sadness in his
voice when he got to the stories of former patrons of the class that he'd had
to arrest or report dead. I kind of understand that no matter WHAT you tell a
human being, they'll still end up doing the wrong thing. We're a stupid race.
Thats especially true for kids, who like doing the things parents tell them not
to (like watchong South Park in some cases). I mean, give these people a LITTLE
credit, they can't control the kids they teach. I'll agree that the basic
lessons are just satying "Stay away" without giving reasons, but many people
are trying hard. Ah well, I'll probably get spammed for not liking drugs
anyway.<g>

I know that was a joke..but no. The drinks made her sleepy, and she ran off the
road and her car was found over turned in a ditch.

I'd bring up brownies here, but I bet you're too young... :-)

Now I know why Ike looks so much like Terrance & Phillip, and all the other Canadians in "Not Without My Anus!". Does this mean that in the SouthPark universe, Candians are deformed? ;-)

Yes, the parts of Mr. Mackey on drugs, the scamps theories about a bris, and Hippie cracks were funny, but I (being a girl and all, I'll have to admit you guys don't see this) was kind of glad Trey and Matt put in that touching scene between Ike and Kyle. Him showing him the photo album, and that "save me" hug. What can I say, maybe I'm over sensitive, but dammit Ike is cute. Especialy him holding up the table LOL.

My girlish "cuteness" detector also liked that clip from next week of Cartman
dressed up as a police man. Those glasses are kew!

Hehe, well I'm a guy and I'll admit I found all those scenes with Ike touching, in a manly macho way ofcourse. ;-)

P.s. Cartman would make a kick ass member of the South Park fuzz.. "To Patronize and Annoy" hehe.

Cartman

In article ,

I bet if the Cartman-with-sunglasses from the preview were put up on Blackbart's page, it would be among the most-requested items in the next week. It would also cut down on the bandwidth it would use after the episode actually airs.

It's those brief spurts of "realistic" effects, like the photographs and the chrome-effect on the sunglasses, that give South Park its charm. I expect we'll see a similar effect on some snowboarder or other kind of Dan Cortese or Mountain Dew commercial extreme-sports kind of guy.

I was rolling... I was also a little shocked to hear "shit," but I think the thing that killed me was the counselor's (what the hell is his name) "Angel" telling him not to be such a pussy!

Is it me, or did trey and matt hit upon every little nuance we've been discussing over the last few weeks? (Ike being a Canadian, Kyle's apatheitc "You bastards" line, etc, etc)... Or does this fall under the _infinite monkeys/infinite typewriters/"Hamlet" Script_ theory?

Agreed!
