Differences between the soundtrack and the songs in the film:
Major differences
- The soundtrack does not have the three parts of "Wendy's Song" Stan sings
- It does not have "Hell Isn't Good"
- It doesn't have "The Mole's Reprise"
Minor differences:
1. Mountain Town:
a. When Stan sees his mom at Tom's Rhinoplasty, she says
"All right, all right, here you go" on the soundtrack, but
"All right, here you go" in the film
b. When Stan goes to Kenny's house
He asks Kenny's mom if Kenny's at home. She calls Kenny out, and Kenny
answers with "Okay mom," on the sountrack, but
Stan calls Kenny out, and Kenny says, "Coming," in the film.
c. Sheila doesn't say a thing about Ike breaking windows on the soundtrack,
although you can hear the glass shatter. I thought her voice did that.
d. On the soundtrack she asks Kyle what's going on. He says, "Nothing."
But in the film, she asks him where he's going. He says, "Aaah.'
e. The movie has a TV announcer speaking before the doorbell rings, after
which Cartman says once that somebody's at the door, but
the soundtrack has no announcer, and Cartman saying twice that
somebody's at the door. The second time is emphatic- Kyle's Mom's a Bitch
The soundtrack does not have Kyle saying "Shut your fucking mouth, Cartman!", nor Stan saying "Uh, Cartman..."
- What would Brian Boitano Do?
The whole section with Brian Dennehy is not on the soundtrack.
- Up There
On the soundtrack, the song starts in Eb, rises to F, then ends in D, with Satan singing an A note, but in the movie, the song starts in F, rises to G, then ends in E, with Satan singing an E note.
- I Can Change
The following lines are dropped from the song in the film:
Saddam: I can learn to keep my promises, I know it. I'll open up my heart and I will show it. Any minute now, I will be born again. Satan: But what if you never change?
And "Aaah, Satan!" is moved to the bedroom scene where Saddam exposes the fake penis twice.
