Here is a link to a website with information on funny business in the count. The bottom line is that wherever the exit polls could be compared against paper ballots, they were shown to be accurate. Wherever they could not -- including Ohio and Florida -- the exit polls showed Kerry winning, but the "official" results showed Bush.

So far in Florida well over 200,000 more votes were registered than people who showed up at the polls (http://www.ac.wwu.edu/~adamsb6/elections/) and in Ohio so far over 75,000 more votes have been found than people who voted (check the results precinct for precicnt in several of the counties). What has been more interesting is that so far every single one of the "glitches" has magically been in Bush's favor. Not a single vote seems to have accidentally gone to Kerry.

The exit polls were rigged. MoveOn (or one of those other wacko organizations) found out which polling places had exit pollsters and told their people to go there to "stuff the exit polls" so it would look like Kerry was winning big so Bush voters would be discouraged from showing up later in the day. This was done in the big cities too which were largely for Kerry. Suburbs were ignored when it came to exit polling too, so many Bush supporters didn't get represented in the exit polls.

There are computer problems and voting irregularities all over the country. Florida, Ohio, North Carolina and now New Mexico's voting counts are all off by LARGE numbers. Thousands of extra votes found beyond the number of voters. (93,000 in Ohio documented so far, 22,000 in North Carolina and 193,000 in Florida) We only know for sure that 4,000 extra votes went to bush in Ohio and 22,000 were taken away from Kerry in North Carolina (these were later added back in for the offical count)
I have been doing some work for a non-partisan group looking into this and discovered some glaring irregularities in New Mexico as well.

You will find that the number of voters doesn't match the number of votes cast in any precinct, but that is because the number of voters hasn't been adjusted to allow for the absentee voters yet. However, all votes have been added.
Check out precinct 004.
Kerry got 326 votes and Bush 201 for a total of 527 votes cast. However, if you look at EVERY OTHER LINE the most votes cast were 311. Obviously the number of votes cast for President has been inflated for BOTH candidates. Most other precincts show similar totals for president as other items.
There are many MANY other irregularities. All you have to do is look through the precincts and follow some basic math and you will see there is a BIG problem.
Now, you are probably going to whine, move on, move on, move on, but as with most zealots of either party, you will have missed the point entirely. Whether the Turd Sandwich or the Giant Douche won isn't what is important.
The fact that voting system in this country is being proven unreliable IS IMPORTANT. It is more important than the war on terror, more important than tax cuts, more important than 9/11. This country was founded on representation and the moment you allow that to be compromised, it just aint America any more.
So, here is a little advice, stop whining and do some resarch for yourself. If you are a real American, the integrity of the voting process with bother you no matter who wins or loses the election.

I mean, if they have no interest, for whatever reason, in who runs their state, their county, their school district, why vote on it? For example, I have no kids. Even if I had kids today, there would be a whole nuther election for me to cast my vote before my child hit preschool. I could give a shit who sits on the board of education in my county. I have some advice for YOU. Stop pissing down the backs of people who you do not consider "real americans". Part of being american is a heaping helping of good old fashioned home grown apathy. If someone doesn't have the passion for the voting system that you do, fine, let them be. Frankly, I'm glad there are hapless dweebs like you who have nothing better to do with their lives than to count, recount and then check again, the results of our elections. It means that I don't have to worry about it coming out right. I know that, in the end, you losers will figure it out and let me know what happened.

Yes, it did, but it was dismissed as silly. If you check the other precincts, this one stands nearly alone in the large number of vote differentials. That is what makes it irregular. So either a large group of people in this particular precinct, all somehow decided to skip the presidential ballot together in staggeringly high numbers as opposed to everyone else OR add to the list of other VERFIED computer errors from election day.

Sorry, but, well, no. Things actually do get do get done as a result of elections. Between Bush and Kerry? Not so much. However, there are many local elections where the results really matter and there are even times when which person is chosen as President might actually have an effect on the way things are done.
