Today's South Park newsgroup thing to do is the 'Get A Lot Of People Pissed Off At You Really Fast Thing'. Here's what you do:
First, you and your best bud decide to make an explicit-filled video Christmas card for some extra bucks. This video soon becomes a pop-culture phenomenon, and spins off into a TV series, which becomes *another* pop culture phenomenon. You still with me? Good. Now, the end of the first season of your pop-culture phenomenon is coming up, so you and your best bud, now your partner, decide to make fun of cliffhangers, since you make fun of everything else on your show. Well, then you take a really fat, prejudiced kid from the characters on your TV show, who's dad is yet to be seen, and have him suddenly become rather interested in his lineage, 'cause his mom is a slut. Now, this kid is right about to find out who his dad is, when you say you'll say the answer in 4 weeks. And guess what day that is? April Fools Day! So you wait it out and while you do you make an episode about these two guys that fart, and the entire thing is really stupid on purpose. But what you don't know is that everyone is trying to guess who this little kid's dad is, arguing, and generally driving each other crazy. Well, finally the big day arrives, and you're so happy because you know nobody will care about the answer to the cliffhanger, since it's just cardboard, right? So instead of the answer that night you show the episode about the two guys that fart. But suddenly you realize that everyone *does* care, and they start calling in and cursing you out, and-whoops!-you're in trouble now!
Well that's it for the South Park thing, the South Park newsgroup thing to do..we say what we say to you, and you go do that thing we say, 'cause once you've done that little thing it's the South Park newsgroup thing you did, today's South Park newsgroup thing..you did. Love 'ya!
