I think Kyle and Sheila are great, but I recently admitted to myself that I've never really liked Stan -- he's kind of a sanctimonious little prick.

Well, if you saw FotR before TTT it could hardly be a spoiler. And if you "bothered" with the books (heh!) you'd have known the whole story. I saw TTT yesterday and I don't remember any mention of how Smeagol actually got the ring.
I've never read the books and I probebly never will, I'm not your typical bookworm... And I was talking about the name Seagol.
