There are a few episodes where, if push comes to shove, he's f--- you up. The problem isn't that he's stupid. The problem is that he's a self-fish bastard that doesn't think anything is worthwhile UNLESS it can benefit him materially. Thus, he'll won't take his education seriously, unless there's something to be gained from it NOW.

Yeah, now I think you're right. He can be smart when he wants something bad. For a skit like the Osama one I guess Cartman is the only one of the four zany enough to play the role.

Haven't you ever known anybody who just had to do the wrong thing? That's Cartman. He does seem to have quite a bit of musical talent, though. Perhaps we should call him an idiot savant.
