Where to d/l most recent episode july 11, 2001?

Hi! We lost power in our building. If you don't wnnt to send me a tape at a reasonable tape and shipping cost, can you tell me where to download the episode?

The best and fastest way to download episodes is via IRC. If you are completely unfamilar with IRC, just go to www.spdownloads.com and suffer with the rest. However, if you want to get them easily and almost immediately after first showing, IRC is the way to go. The best place that I've found is the #southpark-episodes channel on DALNet. Start you IRC client (I use mIRC), join a server on DALNet, then join the channel #southpark-episodes. Once you're in the channel type '!list' without the quotes to get a list of triggers to get to each server:

Send the trigger phrase as follows (without quotes):

'/ctcp bongboy pop music sucks'

and then it will start a private communication session. A pop-up will appear, click the chat butten, then a new window will open up. At this point you are talking to the bot and it acts just like an FTP server:

Now just sit back and wait for your slot in the queue to come up. Bongboy is a GREAT server, but it's way too popular. There will normally be 4 or 5 servers active at a time, find the one with the lowest number of queues active, zero being what you're looking for, and go with it. Of course it's best to do this early in the morning. I generally try when I first get into the office, and have been able to get the entire 37Meg episode in as little as 66 seconds, though it takes about 45 minutes over my 112k ISDN link.

Alot of channels on IRC ban AOL'ers on general principle. So if it's *that* important, try getting another ISP. I'm way too lazy to even think about the alternatives.

Actually, I have another ISP! I have comcast@home but I don't know the name of the local host it uses. Do you know how I can find that out?

No need. Just use Comcast as your ISP and then run mIRC - as you said, mIRC will try to fill in these values by itself - mIRC will read your ISP settings and behave accordingly.
