Instead of the usual 50 cents he usually gets, Cartman recieves two dollars from the tooth fairy for one of his baby teeth. This leads him, Stan, Kyle and Kenny to realize that they could amass a small fortune the same way. Unfortunately, Stan and Kyle no longer have their baby teeth and an attempt to pry Kenny's teeth loose fails miserably. They then decide instead to steal the baby teeth from under OTHER kid's pillows, put them under Cartman's pillow and then make enough money to buy a Sega Dreamcast. However, as the "tooth fairy", Mrs. Cartman runs out of money and confesses to Cartman that there's no such thing as the tooth fairy. The other boys learn the truth as well, and the news hits Kyle hard, causing him to doubt his own existance. Desperate for money, the boys next decide simply to steal tooth fairy money from the children of rich families, only to run into another group of boys pulling the same stunt. It turns out that these boys are from a professional tooth smuggling ring and Stan, Kyle, Cartman and Kenny are brought before their "godfather", Loogie. He offers them a job working for him for a pay of 2% of the profits. Meanwhile, the American Dental Association has been trying to figure out where all the missing baby teeth are going. Their most educated guess is a half squirrel, half rooster creature. However, one man is certain this is not the case. Back in South Park, the boys decide they can make more money without working for Loogie, and strike out on their own. Loogie finds out about this and catches them in the middle of a tooth heist, which turns out to be a sting operation set up by the American Dental Association. Suddenly, Kyle, whose been obsessing about the possibility that he doesnt exist, decides that he actually DOESN'T exist and dissapears. At that moment, and this is hard to describe, Kyle takes a trip through time and space, freaking everyone out and causing the ADA to flee. Kyle reappears soon after and Loogie decides he's happy his racket is over, so he can be a normal little boy again.
Review: Although "Tooth Fairy Tats 2000" isnt the all time best South Park episode, it definately ranks high on my list of favorites. The entire tooth fairy mafia is just so strange that it actually starts to sound downright logical after a while. I wonder if anyone else ever thought of this. There are alot of highlights in this episode, including a scene of Kenny being torn right out of his coat in an attempt to pull his tooth out by tying it to retarded boy's wheelchair. The retard boy, Timmy, ends up turning into the biggest laugh-out-loud gag of the episode, as he continuously screams out, "Timmy!!". Kyle's brief trip through time and space is so bizarre one wishes it was just a little longer. Of course, there's also Cartman's new adjective of the week, tits, which blows "hella" clean out of the water. All in all, I give Tooth Fairy Tats 2000 a 4 out of 5.
Kennys Death: The tooth fairy mafia gives Kenny a pair of cement shoes and throws him off a bridge into the river. However, the river is only a few centimeters deep so they just leave him standing there. During the credits, Kenny tries to hop across the river only to fall into a deep section and drown. Timmy wheels past over the bridge. "Timmy!!"
