personally i dont see how the animation can get better (just look at how crappy the original B&B and simpsons looked) but i think matt & trey are going to really push the envelope and see what they can get away with
there is also a down side to this i think that they might a little too far and provoke all those damn church groups
If you look at the Spirit of Christmas and Frosty shorts, you'll notice that the show was quite a bit different than it is now. SP already went through it's changes when it came to Comedy Central
You can even see a big difference when you watch Anal Probe and compare it to the Christmas episode. The animation is crappier, and Kenny is redder.

Perhaps a different beginning opening sequence for Season 2 episodes (either a totally new one consisting for season highlights or a modified version).
I heard that Kenny won't die in every episode but in most of the episodes just so everyone will be watching carefully to see if Kenny dies or not.
