Old Messages

Could someone please tell me how long my old messages stay up? I am new to posting and don't know if there's something I should do to get rid of them, or if they expire after two weeks or something, or what.

Your newsgroup reader should have a option for how long to keep old messages. It will delete old messages from the list. As far as how long they stay on the newsgroup server, I'm not sure, I think it is set by your ISP, 'cause I ocasionally get a message that says message expired.
