Saw the preview. No sign of Kenny anywhere. I guess he is truely gone. Explains why there is to be a new intro sequence. My g/f said she would stop watching if there is no Kenny, I hope she has a change of heart about that.
Having said that, I look forward to seeing the new episodes. Tonight's episode deals with AIDS and weight loss. Could they be planning to poke fun at "Aydes" weight reduction candy? Hopefully not a spoiler, just speculation.
Actually, they are making fun of the Jared/Subway diet tonight. The kids try to imitate it, only to find it doesn't work. They then discover that Jared was losing weight because he had AIDS, not because of the Subway diet.

The Japanese candy? I don't recall it ever being touted as a "weight loss" candy.
Ayds Candy (been around since 1944) is supposed to curb the appetite for fattening food and allow the consumer to lose up to 10 pounds in 5 days, without dieting or exercising.
I used to see it for sale in the drugstores. Basically, it promoted weight-loss thru it's active ingredient, benzocaine. The benzocaine would numb the stomach, suppressing feelings of hunger.
