Kenny Killed Death....COOL!

I'm not sure if anyone caught this, I'm sure everyone noticed the first kid to get eaten had a Star Trek shirt on, but thats nit where it ends. Theres a joke that on Star Trek, you know certain extras are going to die, because they get sent out first.I may be wrong, but these extras are usually wearing a red uniform.

Anway...of course my fave part was Kenny's sequence. Its about time he got back at Death! Him eating the ice cream was SO CUTE. Then, there was the "Shut up dude, you're scaring Kenny" and "Cartman, thats not possible, Kenny just died 8 hours ago.".

Though it was bizarre, I liked all the hidden stuff in this episode. :)

Yep. I have never watched Star Trek (except for some of The Next Generation), but I know about the red-shirt-crewmembers-always-die thing. The hilarious thing (in my opinion) was that the red-shirted kid even wore that neat Star Trek badge. Who saw _his_ death coming, guys?

Its about time he got back

Yeah, in his sequence I thought I was gonna die, I was laughing so hard. I mean, does that figure or what? Kenny the death-prone, single-handedly killing Death...and the way he laughed afterwards was hilarious...

Yeah, and then when Kenny got the look on his face like "Dude, _what_ the fuck are you talking about?" Either Kenny doesn't know that he dies, or he's so used to it that it doesn't upset him anymore. Personally, I'm hoping for the latter...

Amnesia? Or do the other boys really not know about Kenny's immortality?

Yeah, me too...I was laughing through this whole thing. It was Kenny's flashback that killed me, though...i agree, that was classic.

Alyssa

I *knew* you two would love this stuff! I mean, just because of all the Kenny-related humor, I couldn't get this episode out of my head! A question of logic, though, if Kenny's death doesn't bother him anymore (I think his flashback proved that he knows), then why is he constantly screaming whenever he meets whatever demise (such as the big black scary monster, god I love that explination) that he currently comes to? I mean, when the monster picked him up, he started screaming as always. Personally I'd love to just hear him sigh and go 'not again' once and a while...I would die laughing.. "Kenny just died eight hours ago!" had me rolling. Maybe it's all a big coverup, and-oops, I don't want to accidentally spoil McCormick, now do I? And Lindsay, to whom I have entrusted the ending, if you breathe a word, I'll kick your ass personally. Jeez, Snow & Alyssa, you two have turned me into Kenny-fans (before I was one of the sheep "Caaaaartman..Caaartman!"), but I don't care. Kenny is cool. Cartman is cool. Goddamnit, Mr. Hat is cool! I think I caught a bit of that in Part 2 of the Cliffhanger (aka "Cartman's Dad Is a Dirty Slut"). Wasn't Kenny rolling his eyes before his imminent electrocution?

He did? What part? The one thing I noticed was that he seemed very resigned to it..

I think what our dear friend is talking about is when Kenny looked up jsut before he said he would grab both wires...ie the doc syas something to the effect off "in 30 minutes all these patients will die"..silence, Kenny looks up, then says he'll do it.

I can see how that sould be interpreted into eye-rolling "oh here we go again, alright! I'll die...sheesh"...:)

True, true...oh well. Kenny screams a lot. Good for him. I'm gonna drop the subject right about now.

Yeah like being inna hot tub!

"Did they? That board with a nail in it may have defeated us. But the humans won't stop there. They'll make bigger boards and bigger nails, and soon, they will make a board with a nail so big, it will destroy them all!"

Uh uh... you can get used to any *continuous* sensation, but not a *discontinuous* one. This is why alternating current hurts alot more than direct current. If you keep getting in and out of the hot tub every five seconds you won't get used to it. Likewise, if Kenny was being killed CONSTANTLY, he'd get used to it, but since he's got a breather between deaths, he doesn't get a chance.

P.S. There's a line in Disney's "Hunchback of Notre Dame" in which Frollo says something like, "Give him more time between each lash of the whip. That way, he'll feel it more." Same principle at work.

Yes, I know the ending...if you give me ten bucks, I'll tell!!

Maybe he's sick and tired of death claiming him over the past couple ofepisodes.

Good questions since he's NOT an (Highlander) Immortal since he's been decapitated on several occasions.

Uhurua knew which side of her bread was buttered... she made sure she serviced Kirk enough to warrant keeping her on the bridge. When Scotty beamed down, however, he almost ALWAYS got his ass kicked. The salt monster, being blamed for murder when Red Jack was the real culprit, etc. etc.

Chekov also got smacked around a bit, but I think he was a yellow shirt.

Exactly. By the time the movies started being made, Scotty had realized how much better off in engineering he was. He didn't become a miracle worker for the glory... he didn't want to get eaten like half of his crewmates did on the original 5 year mission! ;)

I think hes learned it over time. I know I'm looking way to much into it, but
watching the old episodes, he was really stupid about it at first, but by the
Mr.Hankey episode, he seemed to realise his fate.

I agree. In the episode where they are trapped at the hospital during the power outage ("Cartman's Mom...") and the doc's plan was split up into two teams with Kenny on one and everyone else sipping cocoa in the loung on the other, I think his expression was more, "God damnit, not again" than fear.
