Sweeeeeeet

Hi all!

The last episode (TIMMY!!!!!!!!!!!) was so sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet! And finally we heard Wendy saying something! I think the new female-voice does a great job, even Mrs. McCormick and Mrs. Broflovski sounded pretty close to Mary Kay.

And my Cannibal DVD arrived yesterday! WHO WANTS TO TOUCH ME? The picture- and sound quality sucks ass, but I don t care! I expected the movie to be much funnier then it was... I didn t laugh very much. (But I am not a shitfaced cockmaster!) I hope the commentary track is much funnier... Btw, Matt s costume reminded me all the time of Kyle. <g>

But what s aboot this "Liane"-Thing? The horse is called Liane and so is Mrs. Cartman. Treys ex-girlfriend?

My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed Timmy 2000 as well as Cannibal! The Musical. To really appreciate Cannibal!, you really have to get into the Troma frame of mind first. That is, ultra-cheese mode. Check out the extras on the Cannibal! DVD to get a flavor of Troma. The humor isn't the same as SP, so you may just not like it as much. Also, your email (and name) indicate that you might not be from or live in the U.S...a lot of the Cannibal! humor may be funnier to those who grew up in this culture as opposed to a European one. Not that we can't share some common ground, but some humor simply doesn't transfer to other cultures well.

The Leanne [sic?] thing is a joke, but true, I think. Trey got revenge on an ex-girlfriend by naming the horse in Cannibal! after her as well as Mrs. Cartman, the ultimate slutty crack whore.

Finally, the Cannibal! commentary track is one of the most (if not the most) enjoyable commentaries I have heard.

I think it s just not my kind of humour. Usually I like brainless stuff like "Attack of the killer tomatoes" and stuff... I think Cannibal! is a movie of that kind. ;)

But have you seen BASEketball? I laughed my ass off on that movie!

Oh yeah, I loved BASEketball, too. I guess a lot of the humor in Cannibal! is not as direct as the humor in BASEketball. Some of it was hard for me to explain why it's funny to me. But, it is by no means cerebral!
