So Channel 4 FINALLY started airing Season 6 last Friday, in a graveyard slot (after midnight on a Friday night.)
But does anyone know why they started with 602, Jared Has Aides, and skipped 601, Freak Strike? This Friday they are showing 603, Asspen, so it looks like they're going to skip 601 altogether. I was lucky enough to see it when I was in Canada a few months back, and it didn't seem that bad to me, so what are they playing at?

In the original US broadcast order, the Jared episode aired first, followed by Asspen, and then Freak Strike. They aired out of production order. Probably Channel 4 is following the US broadcast order. Episode 605 (Fun With Veal) should also air before 604 (Terrance & Phillip Movie Trailer). 606 through 617 all aired in order.
You'll see this in season 7 as well, where the season premiere (Cancelled) had production code 704, and was followed by 702, 703, and then 701.

As it happens, the day after I posted this I found out that they ARE showing Freak Strike after Asspen, just as you say it aired in the US. The problem was that I was going by the Original Air Dates given in the Episode Guide on southparkstudios.com and that says that Freak Strike was aired first.
