Since I had the day off, I thought it might be nice to go out and blow a little of my paycheck. A Bestbuy, 2 malls and 5 record stores later, I couldn't find the Mr Hankey X-mas album. I swear our records stores here suck ass so bad they give you an enema. Time to get plastic and start shopping Amazon I 'spose.

avoid cdnow.com, I ordered something from them on Tuesday last week, put it on express, it shoulda been here on thursday, they said by friday, didnt come to til monday
I bet you didn't ask anyone. I had the same problem, until I wandered over to the X-mas section and there it was. For some reason most stores aren't putting it in their "new releases" section, just the X-mas section.
I looked in both at two Best Buys, wasnt there
They have them in the Wall chains, and The Gallery of Sound chains, if they're in any of your areas..
I've never even *heard* of those.

I had that problem too... The independant store sells EVERYTIHNG...the mall stores don't carry it for obvious reasons...::cough::falwell::cough::...and I looked under South Park for a WEEK before I thought to look under the M's. Of course it was THERE, but it said "File Under South Park." Big DUH...lol

I looked in the X-mas section in all 6 places in fact. Either it was sold out(a distinct possibility in light of it being X-mas eve and all), or they just don't stock it(a distinct possibility in the case of Bestbuy). The record stores here are so lame I'm surprised they can carry anything at all. Maybe I'm just old, but it seems like the only crap these places carry is what's force fed from corporate. I swear it's a default selection, I can't imagine any manager ordering such a shitty selection.
