Howd Mr Hat get in the sauna?

In the huge snake/fireworks episode, Mr Garrison is lying on the couch talking to pschaitrist Dr Katz saying something about Mr Hat being gay & that he often has fantasies about being in the sauna with Bret someone or another. Later, Mr Hat is shown in the sauna. So what are we suppose to assume on how he got there? He comes to life like Chucky the doll? Or that Mr Garrison put him there & blocked it out of his nutty mind? Or what?

Mr. Hat is a creature all his own. He does come to life. He is possessed.

His head has spun all the way around.(Weight Gain 4000) He made his dream come true: to visit Brett Favre. I don't know if he got as far as the 1000 Island dressing...(Summer Sucks) He put Mr. Twig in a large boiling put and later broke him in two. He commandeered a Hummer, tied a rope between it and the widnow to the jail cell Mr. Garrison was in for indecent exposure, and ripped it out, freeing Mr. Garrison and Chef (Chef Aid).

And as for the other questions, let me pose one more. In the Chef Aid episode, how did Mr Hat drive the truck and break Garrison and Chef out of jail?? It's kinda like that tootsie pop commercial. "The world may never know."

It is a freaking cartoon and the animators drew the animated drawing of a handpuppet over an animated background drawing of a sauna. See Bret Favre wasn't really there either. he is a famous American football player, not an animated TV character. The artists drew an animated version of Bret Favre. Cool how that works, huh?
