Does this mean Cartman approves of taking drugs, or just that his uncle is a hippy?

Maybe Cartman does not believe crack is a drug. Maybe he classes it as another form of alcohol/tobacco/caffeine/valium.

Maybe he is simply relating his uncle's opinion about crack, not necessarily sharing it. Maybe he's just an eight year old kid who likes attention and doesn't really know what he's talking about. Maybe the people who write the show value humor over continuity (and more power to them!!!)
