TIME MAN OF THE CENTURY

Hi everyone,

I just voted for Time magazine's Man of the Century and so far this is how the ratings go: #1 is Jesus Christ #2 is Adolf Hitler (a close second) #3 is Eric Cartman

Are these votes for real? This is insane! How could we let this happen, for Hitler to come in second, and Cartman (now don't get me wrong, I love South Park but for Christ's sake, he's still only a damn cartoon character!) to come in third? What the hell is the matter with society nowadays? Can't people vote for someone better than these two, one being a man who caused the deaths of millions of innocent people, the other a 2 dimensional figure made of construction paper and the figment of somone's imagination?! Please, vote for someone who truly deserves it, like Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, Mother Teresa, or Martin Luther King Jr. Oh, and BTW, I voted for Jesus. Yes I know he didn't live in this century but I'll be damned if I allow fucking Hitler to win. Thank you.

This is something I have never understood. How can they take these polls on the internet seriously? They are so easy to hack. If anyone is familiar with the Dilbert LOTD (list of the day) you will know what I am talking about. When I think about it, my entry always wins with >50000 votes where second places has about 600. Sheesh, Time is not really going to print this are they?

For one thing, the vote is for the "Person of the Century" vote, it isn't the "Nicest Person of the Century" and I think Hitler SHOULD win it because I'd say he is the most influential. W.W.II History is by far the most well-known history (look at the amount of books) so many novels are based on it, and do you have any idea how many TV shows and movies (including South Park) make references to Hitler? And Hitler did NOT cause the death of millions of people. It was the fault of the supporters of the Nazis. Thank you very much.
