BLU on PPV

Yesterday, they were showing BLU on PPV all day. Since I didn't have anything else to do and I've never seen it, I tried to watch it without calling the cable guys and asking for it (hence, the video was distorted, fluttery and everything else, but the sound was clear). After about 30 minutes, my brain was begging me to stop watching the screwy video, so I did. I finally broke down and decided to just go rent the movie next week. Since I'm so freaking poor, this means that I'll be eating bologna sandwiches for the next two weeks, but who cares? :-)

Dish Network had BLU on a all-day PPV deal, where I can order it once and watch it any time I want all day. I actually watched it two times last night after watching the West Indies/New Zealand Cricket match on Channel 989. BLU was also in Dolby Stereo, so the sound was awesome. Why don't you just get the PPV and videotape it? The price can't be more than your average Blockbuster video rental, and then you can own it forever.
