I believe the reference he was talking about was when cartman threatened to make someone eat their parents, and the person said "yeah right" and the other boys said "no, he'll do it dude."

Yeah. "Wow! That was quick! What should we name it?" was a classic line too. There was a reference to one of the debates that's occurred on this newsgroup (and probably elsewhere too), from around the time of the movie about whether or not T&P are "real" in the SP universe, or cartoons. Probably some autobiographical stuff too, at least the point about friendship being important.
Another (accidental?) reference toward the beginning was when the boys complain about T&P being in reruns and wonder when they'll make new episodes. That's how most of us felt about South Park around April or May.
