"Spike & Mike's sick & twisted animation '97" (Coming to Chicago June 5) includes "The Spirit of Christmas".
The Music Box will be showing the fest only the week of June 5th, with advance ticket sales from TicketMaster...
Knowing the Music Box's propensity for putting good animation on their tiniest screen, does anybody know of other theaters who are/will be showing Spike&Mike's, anywhere in the midwest?

Apparently, the last couple of years worth of Spike & Mike sick and twisted festivals have been kinda lame, but this one is supposed to be pretty good. When Spike & Mike came to Vancouver in late '97, they were showing classics like "Horn Dog" (funny), "Dirty Birdy" (cute in its own perverse way), "Lloyd's Lunchbox" (hilarious...and Vancouver produced), and "Jurassic Fart".
The new stuff they are showing includes "Sloaches Fun House" (absolutely SICKENING!).
You're better off buying at the door. Just show up early...or bring a refrigerator with the flyer taped to the door. And remember to bring your refrigerator home. Apparently, the police got really upset with one showing because these guys just went to a junk yard, grabbed old refrigerators, got into S&MS&T for free, and left the fridge there.
They're touring, so it's going to be showing at a different time. If it's showing in your general area, the flyers would likely have tour dates and locations for nearby cities.
