MATT JUST KNOWS TREY REALLY WELL :)

To comment on the whole Matt/Trey Gay?Straight?Bi? thing.

The way I see it, having been a hunter of Matt and Trey for at least three years now, since I saw Cannabal!, It's looking to me like their relationship is that of ... well... what it is... Two guys who've spent 24/7 with eachother for the past almost 10 years now.

Believe me I DON'T want them to be gay ("Don't be gay Trey!! Don't be gay!"), but I think there's something between Matt and Trey that can't be described, because they probably know eachother better than they know themselves. ANd if you read ANY article on them about Baseketball, they don't deny that. Considering the fact that most of the psyche outs and other scenes that required Matt and Trey to come up with jokes (like most of the locker room fight) is proof that they most likely just left the cameras rolling and let them do their thing. There's also several things that you can just tell that's how they are... Example (No, this is not a spoiler, so it's okay to read on)

Matt: What are you DOING, man!? Trey: TRYING TO SAVE AN INNOCENT LIFE! Matt: (in scottish accent for star trek effect) I've given her all I've got! Trey: (pause) I love ya... always have. Matt and Trey: (Just laugh briefly and then continue with the scene)

When I saw that.. it almost seemed to me that that wasn't even SUPPOSED to be in the movie, but was so damn cute they kept it. I think that was just Matt and Trey being themselves. Does anyone agree?

Aww...*sniff* but really, yeah, I agree. I find it amazing they can have that strong a friendship, but that's exactly how it seems. I find the kissing scene could be one of two things:

• They *are* gay. (No! Not Trey, *please*!)
• They are *really*, *REALLY* close.
• They are completely shameless.
• They are a combination of 2 and 3

I pick 4 myself.

I think its #4... my sister however thinks its #1... which caused me to get yelled at one day for yelling "How am I gonna have sex with a homosexual" at the top of my lungs during a fight with her about wether or not they are (gay or not).

As much as I hate to say this... I believe Dian Bachar is married. :(. In the pilot episode of South Park, Dian Bachar is listed as a production assistant (I think) but in the Cut N' Pasters, there is also listed on "Lisa Bachar" Could it be his sister??? I doubt it, but one can hope! HE IS SUCH A CUTIE... (but I'll wait in line for Trey :) )

I can't believe how far this went!!!! I started this string like four weeks ago, and now we've got lust/love wars... potheads and such...

Guys... He has a girlfriend. Most people DO enjoy a bit of pot, just pray it doesn't get any worse. He's TALENTED! That alone is enough to be attracted to him... But being politely attracted and stalking are two very differen things.

I think most of the peope here, as much as they say the LOVE Trey Parker... I think we're adult enough to know that we don't know him personally, and we probably never will. It's nice to have something pleasant to look at on TV and big screen. It's nice to have someone we like to read about. It's nice to know there are celebrities out there, that as of August 28, 1998, aren't complete fuck-ups.

That's my take on this whole thing. I'm almost sorry for starting it.

You're not kidding!!! :) Hey, I'm sure you noticed that the song in the car in the movie BASEketball (Lovingly named "Warts On My Dick" is performed by DVDA.. My question is... is it by ANY chance on the CD soundtrack of BASEketball, perhaps as a hidden track? I bought the tape to listen to in the car, and it's not on it. I think Christy's got it exactly. Even two gay men, as lovers, would not be very likely to achieve such a profound match of comedic talent and ability in addition to compatibility as a couple. It'd be like 2 *very* intense actors or other performers being married to each other, which is very rare and even more rarely *lasting* when it does happen.

None of the gay men I know get the "gaydar" signal from either Matt or Trey. Obviously it works to their advantage not to say anything, so that speculation like this thread will run amok, and kissing scenes like the one in the movie can't be easily dismissed as just 2 good ole het boys clowning around.
