Ok, here's the scenario, totally fictitious, but amusing nonetheless:
August, 2001-- South Park has long ceased to exist. And no, we never do find out who Cartman's dad is. Terrance & Phillip is the highest rated show on tv. In the season premiere, Scott feeds T&P a barrel full of beans and locks them into a sealed silo filled with explosive gas. Just when it looks like doom for our heroes, Comedy Central goes to a commercial break. When they come back, we see no T&P, no Scott, no nothing. Just Memphisto, Chef, Cartman, the Broncos et al... Memphisto is pointing at (whoever Cartman's dad turns out to be) and Cartman says "HE'S my dad?!?" And we don't see any more T&P for the rest of the episode. Then, Comedy Central has to declare bankruptcy because all the T&P fans worldwide organize this massive boycott. Matt & Trey give up the show and make BASEketball VII.
