It's official: Cartman is INSANE.

I can deal with the various eccentricies (sp?) that Eric displays from time to time (from his "Lambs" game to his Jennifer Lopez hand puppet fiasco), but to care more about being right rather than having all the money he could possibly want is, to me, insane. I would have told Kyle, after he wins the bet on a technicality, that at least I made the money, and that I am talented enough to crossover into the mainstream. From what I could see, Kyle is a talentless hack who dreams of playing for crowds (the fact that he had to download other people's music to recieve inspiration is the indicator), but Eric is so egotistical that he's willing to burn his own money-making opportunities.

Actually, he's not insane. He's a 9 year old boy. You're looking at Eric Cartman from your own perspective...that of an adult. Of course, you and I would rather have the money than be right. But Eric, as a little boy, doesn't really understand the concept of money the way those of us with jobs, car payments and mortgages do. To me, that's the magic of South Park. Putting children into adult situations and watching the fireworks.

Besides, I doubted his sanity when he tricked the kid, whose name escapes me, into eating his parents.

Either way, I giggled like a mongloid at this week's episode.

No, what's insane is posting to a TV show newsgroup about a cartoon character and writing about him as he were actually a real person whom you know.
