My thoughts on SP:B,L,&U

It's great to FINALLY see South Park as intended!

This movie totally kicks ass! It's hella cool.

Seriously, though, there is so much RIGHT with this film it's a comedic work of fucking art. Matt & Trey point out (quite effectively) how screwed up it is to blame MOVIES (or Canadians, for that matter) for the actions of kids and not the parents who SHOULD take more responsibility in raising them. The film is a biting satire of ITSELF!

I'm sure most have seen it by now but don't worry I won't spoil anything for you, but there is one MAJOR surprise at the end that I was totally shocked at......I NEVER thought Matt & Trey would push it that far! It has to do with Kenny, that's all I'll say.

Be sure to stay for Ike's reprise after the credits...it's fun.

There are far too many great lines to even remember 1/4 of them! I have to agree though that Mr. Garrison's line IS the single best line in the movie; "I don't trust anything that bleeds for five days and doesn't die." I ROARED!

I really really really hope that Warner/Paramount/Comedy Central put out a SP movie every year.......the show is excellent, of course, but to not have the restrictions that TV imposes is a breath of fresh air. As I say, THIS is what South Park should be.

Noone is spared from Matt & Trey in this (as assumed) Germans, Canadians, Gays, Blacks, Christians, Jews, Bill Gates, Conspirators, Parents, Alanis, Kids, and so on and so on and.......

I only pray that Warner Bros. has the home video rights to this....if they do we should see a super-sweet DVD packed with goodies in a few months......if it's Paramount we'll get the movie, but not much else.

Dudes, I cannot wait to see this hella cool movie again. It definitely did NOT suck donkey balls!

Now screw you guys, I'm going home........

Even if it was plagerism, it got the biggest reaction out of the viewers. I mean, our whole theatre was laughing their asses off at this line. Sure it's old, but hearing Mr. Garrison say it makes it even funnier.

Um...*I'm* a woman who has periods, and *I* laughed at it, but the point of the joke, I believe, was a "laughing at" Mr. Garrison rather than a "laughing with".

Would that humor be so easy that "any joke about "woman on their period" is funny. Unfortunately, those bereft of humor, literacy or both are out of luck.

The reason it was funny (to me at least) was because it was such an old joke, and you got the feeling that Mr. Garrison took it seriously. Sort of like, "Can we get rid of all the Mexicans?" from the Xmas special.
