This is the reason WHY they went in drag. Each day they're "cool" is a collective kick in the nutz to "the establishment", from Jack Valenti for speaking for "freedom of speech" but is in charge of one of the largest censorship agencies outside of Afganistan, snotty bee-atches like Rosie O'Donnell, and all of the faggot boys groups from N'SYNC on.
They knew that gears were in motion to fuck them out of an Oscar (Jack would see to that, no doubt), and knowing that this will likely be the *ONLY* time they'll ever be near an Oscar event, they took the opportunity to shake things up (regard it as a symbolic gesture, since I'm sure that when they were signed up to do SP, Hollywood thought it had a new pair of Ho's to control, just like they did with Mike Judge).
If Joan "QVC Cunt" Rivers'opinions actually meant anything, she'd have her own nationwide talk show (har har har!)

If they cared about *anyone's* opinion, they wouldn't have embarrassed themselves like that.
I didn't think it was embarrasing. I really disliked J. Lopez in that dress. I think that putting that same dress on a man made a lot of people who thought women were just uptight and jealous of her being able to actually pull off something so revealing understand the standpoint of those of us who thought it overkill. I thought it a wonderful parody of the ridiculously overblown sexuality that women are expected to portray. I think he and Matt did a great job.
