The SouthParkNet list, a moderated mailing list formed to provide a more focused and less anarchistic forum than alt.tv.southpark, came into being at 2:34am Pacific Time on 24 September. To subscribe to the list, you can go to:

The list is available in either regular "single" format (each post arrives in your mailbox as an individual email) or "digest" format (each day's messages arrive once daily in one large email).
For those unacquainted with mailing lists, basically it's a lot like being on a newsgroup, except it all happens in your mailbox. Also, because this is a *moderated* mailing list, we have the ability to keep it relatively free of trolls, troll food, abuse, catfights, spam, Kyle's mom, etc.
I've been up all night making the list happen and must now sleep. Because this is a moderated list, I have to be awake and en-moused to OK posts. So although you can subscribe and submit a message, you probably won't see it reach the list (that is, it won't be sent to each subscriber's mailbox) until mid- to late afternoon Thursday, Pacific Time. Furthermore, it may take until 6:45am Pacific Time for certain subscription features to become fully functional, so if you're trying to subscribe before that time and hit a snag, try again in an hour.
