It's me Dark Dan. This idea came to me when I tried making my own sp site. It didn't turn out the way I expected. (Note: Buy a web editor! Never try to write html by hand!) Well I still reallywanted to review fics so here it is. Enjoy!
Dark Dan's Fanfic Review Guidelines
-corresponds to South Park This means that you can imagine this happening in South Park. For example you would get low points if one scene was like this: -Stan, Kyle, Cartman, and Kenny are at the bus stop- Stan: Are you gentlemen happy that it's hug day? Cartman, Kenny, and Kyle: Yeah! Cartman: Everyone Group Hug! -They hug- Now if this is what I reviewed you would get a 0 in this category and I would print it out and burn it to ashes! 10-9. You lived the lives of the characters. 8-7. You've seen all of the episodes good job. 6-5. You've seen most of the episodes. 4-3. You have some catching up to do. 2-1. Strap yourself in front of the TV and watch South Park for one straight month. 0: Jump off a cliff. -Originality This is very important! To get a good grade on this you need to have an original plot, because I've seen a lot of fics like Mecha-(Enter Celebrity here) And the visitors return. Also I've seen a lot of fics that the Author's can't think of original sayings, and have sayings from the real South Park episodes and the actual writers just put in "if" "and" and "of". Here is a list of possible fics that would get a 0: The revenge of the visitors Mecha-(Enter Celebrity here) Pip goes mad South Park vs. North Park etc. (note: Catch phrases are okay.) 10-9. You should write a novel. 8-7. You will get a lot of positive feedback. 6-5. You have some good ideas keep it up. 4-3: Try and think up some original plots. 2-1: How many times have you've been in trouble with the copyright police? 0: Jump off a big cliff. -Is it better than South Park? I thought of this when reading a South Park script (I don't have Comedy Central. It's sad isn't it?) Anyway halfway through it a thought popped into my head "Hey wait a minute this is a real episode!" I though I was reading an average fanfic. Then I found that a lot of fan-fic writers can blow Trey and Matt (Unless they have writers) right out of the water. 10-9: You should have access to Trey and Matt's secret lair. 8-7: What's the point of watching South Park if your this good? 6-5: You should start writing your job application. 4-3: You fanfic is filed under "fanfics". 2-1: This is no good. Why don't you work for Trey and Matt? 0: Jump off a very big cliff. -Balance This is not a real biggy all it means is that all your jokes are evenly spaced out in your fanfic. If you have all your jokes crammed at the end you might lose your readers in the boring parts. 10-9: (How would you write a joke about balance?) 8-7: (See 10-9) 6-5: (See 8-7) 4-3: (See 6-5) 2-1: (See 4-3) 0: Jump off a huge cliff. -Humor A good fanfic needs good humor. (Actually I made that up.) But it's always a good idea to have a funny fic. (Actually I made that up too.) 10-9: No fair us fanfic writers can't compete with comedians. 8-7: Maybe you should try making a British royal guard laugh. 6-5: Your funny. (What else can I say?) 4-3: I think I smiled for a second. 2-1: Have you considered writing fanfics for soap operas? 0: Jump off the end of the universe. -Overall average After I gave a score for each category they are averaged into your final score. -The scamps reviews This is just a little bonus. Here is where Stan, Kyle, Cartman and Kenny write their own review. (Note: If you try and shoot for a good score from any of the boys, your fic can get screwed in my review.
