Musical from Matt&Trey

Hi,

is it true that Matt & Trey made a musical before South Park? If yes, what's it's title? What's the story? Is it available on DVD? Is it good?

Yep, Trey loves musicals, and Matt wasn't kidding that he's a fan of "Les Miz", he really is a fan. Anyways, back in 1996(?) Matt & Trey made the cult classic "Cannibal!:The Musical" based on the legend of the Colorado, cannibal Alferd Packer, the only man in US history that was ever convicted of cannibalism. It's also available at Amazon (VHS & DVD) -- just ordered it for Christmas. Now if only they'd release a DVD of Orgazmo...

Can you only begin to imagine getting Matt & Trey likkered up and letting them run wild with the audio commentary, and there must be some deleted scenes. I'd also be happy with SP:BLU with extras and audio commentary. But I suspect due to the nature of their relationship with Paramount, it ain't ever gonna happen.

Yes. In college they made a film called Alferd Packer:The Musical.

Title was changed to Cannibal! The Musical when Troma bought the rights to it.

It's the story of Alferd Packer, a famous cannibal from Colorado.

Yes. It's a Region 1 DVD available from Troma.

If you like South Park, chances are you'll love Cannibal! The Musical.
